What
is GWiZ?
GWiZ is the church
youthgroup for Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic
Church in Gales Ferry CT. The acronyms GWiZ stand for
God's Work in Zeal. GWiZ
is active within the church and local community
through service projects and helping out where it is
needed. GWiZ is open to all 7th through 12th graders.
Our members consist of teens from middle and high
school as well as adults. Members live both in Gales
Ferry, Ledyard and the surrounding areas. We
participate in many activities and retreats
throughout the year. GWiZ is always open and
welcoming to new members. If you are interested in
joining please contact our Youth Director, Kathy
Mertens, any GWiZ member, or simply stop-in at one of
our weekly meetings. If you are interested in

do we meet?
Every Wednesday night
from 7:00 to 8:30 pm.
Where
do we meet?
At the Our Lady of
Lourdes Church Rectory.
Why
do we meet?
To have fun, help out
our community, and learn more about our Catholic faith.
