Upon submitting your intention of marriage a pamphlet is presented to you in order to guide you through the process of marriage preparation required by the Catholic Church. Wedding arrangements are certainly necessary and important but we hope that you will not lose sight that Marriage is a Sacrament – a sacred sign of your love for each other in Christ. Christ abundantly blesses your love. He enriches and strengthens you to undertake the duties of marriage in mutual and lasting fidelity.

Marriage Preparation Class for Engaged Couples
God’s Plan for a Joy-filled Marriage is a marriage preparation course offered by the Office of Family Life. This three session course offers engaged couples a beautiful understanding of God’s plan for sacramental marriage and human sexuality in the beauty of the Church’s vision of marriage, as proclaimed by Pope John Paul II in his writings of “The Theology of the Body”, along with “A Decision to Love” workbook, group discussions and an NFP Introduction presented by our certified NFP instructors. The course offers the guidance and ground-work to assist the engaged couple in marriage preparation.
