Special Cancellation Notices will be place on a separate page.  This page may be accessed from the home page by a link that is provided.  Should inclement weather strike the area, Religious Education Class cancellations will be displayed here, as well as any other parish activities such as our Perpetual Adoration Program, parish meetings, etc.  Please choose this option when weather conditions warrant for information on parish activity during hazardous weather events.

New Webhost --

Our website has moved to a new and more robust webhost.  This webhost gives us 7 GB of diskspace as well as access to a Windows Media Server for streaming video and audio files.  The price is only $19 more than what we were paying for only 800 MB of diskspace -- price for the old webhost was about $100 per year, with no media services.  In addition, this new webhost allows up to 500 MB for each email account.

This new webhost also employs built-in virus and worm scanning software at the server end to scan and clean any possible infected emails/files before they even enter into our email accounts' email boxes.  They also do not tolerate spam, and have a reporting mechanism in place to handle this, should it become a problem.

There are some small adjustments that must be made in the uploading of the GWIZ and Knights pages.  I have setup two sub-directories for this purpose.  I am in the process of testing these features out for the posting of information directly into these sub-directories.
