We are looking for knitted or crochet items, scarves, mittens, hats, baby items, blankets and afghans. We have plenty of yarn you are welcome to use. Join us for "Unlocking the Mystery of the Bible" (from Ascension Press) to get a helicopter tour of he Bible covering salvation history from Creation and the Fall through the coming of Christ and the establishment of the Church. During each of the eight weekly sessions, we will watch a 30 minute video providing an explanation of the topic followed by 30-45 minutes discussing key takeaways from the lesson as a group. Have you been wanting to study the Bible but aren't sure where to start or how to go about it? Over 4,464 shawls have been completed by parishioners and distributed to those in need of spiritual comfort. They also provide shawls to those being baptized.
For those requesting shawls for themselves or others they can fill out a form in the vestibule of the church.
